Direct importation
of up to 288 oz. (nine quarts) of wine less than 21% alcohol
by volume from another state permissible. Adult may bring
into state once every 30 days one quart of wine or brandy
if returning from a foreign country (must have been out of
the U.S. 48 hours). (¶7041)(C.L.M.§436.3). "Importation"
not defined, but has been interpreted by some at the Michigan
ABC to mean in-person transportation only.
