Resident adult must obtain consent from Ohio Department of Liquor Control, 2323 W. Fifth Ave., Columbus 43204, and pay consent fee, to ship or bring in up to two cases of wine or brandy brought into the U.S. from a foreign country. Resident, with consent from the Department and payment of taxes and fees, may bring in up to 15 gallons of wine every 3 months. With consent of the Department, up to one gallon per month of foreign wine or brandy may be brought into state without payment of consent fees, if acquired abroad incident to a journey.
